Chapter 4: In the war?

It took Slaga quite some time to get down the hill because he had ran up the hill. He was tired already. Slaga could hear the screams of pain and bullets being shot in the war. It was majorly disturbing. It was yet time for another break. He was getting old, and he gets tired easily now. He was no longer young and active. That was why Slaga thought that he would not be able to complete this quest. How could an old slig do this kind of a job? It was hard for up for him. He saw a slig group come near Slaga. "You there. Why are you sitting around? Get out here!" Ordered a slig. One of the sligs grabbed him by the right arm. Slaga was confused. They must have thought that he was in the war. They reached the battlefield.
Slaga could see bullets firing back from side to side. The sligs pushed him. "Go out there and kill some mudokkons!" Ordered the sligs. Slaga hid behind a wall and got his gun prepared. Instead of actually firing, he just pretended to fire. He had his finger lightly touching the trigger. They could only see his gun sticking out, instead of his entire body. He hid like this because, well, he thought Gertian could be here.
When the ammo the mudokkons got close to him, he could leap up, run to a safer location, and then duck down again. "Get over here!" Ordered a slig. Slaga got over to the slig's location. They were pinioning a mudokkon down to the ground. "Shoot him! Shoot him!" Yelled the sligs. Yet again, that horrible flashback of the mudokkon dummy and the kids was appearing all over again. Slaga had once again lost control, and he began shooting all the sligs. "Die!" He was yelling. He had killed almost all of them until he heard a voice that said, "What is going on?" It was Gertian's voice. Slaga had run away quickly. Gertian was just standing there, looking at the dead sligs. "Slaga." Said Gertian, "don't worry my sligs, he will soon be dead."
