I'm not so sure. If you look at CG films, most aren't the hollywood stereotype of the buxom babe and the hunky guy.
eg:
Antz : pathetic Woody Allen character
Bug's Life : clutzy ant meets second-rate circus performers
Finding Nemo : neurotic father
Shrek : Ugly, self conscious ogre
All these movies are about pathetic characters finding what they are capable of.
I think Abe would find himself in good company.
