Am I the only person that thinks that sounds a little pathetic. Now they're only developing ideas? Not exactly my idea of moving forward, but what do I know.

Well, for any game company, ESPECIALLY Oddworld, visualization is a huge process. With all the quirky names, areas, and creatures Oddworld makes up, the need puite some time to develop their ideas. So while they may not be technically moving forward in terms of making products, they are moving forward in developing their world.
