Chapter 2: A way
"Aren't you afraid of me. I'm a slig." Said Slaga. "I'm not afraid. I know you work for justice. My goal is to keep it that way." Replied the mudokkon shepard. "Don't you know that the end of my life is near?" Asked Slaga. "Yes. I know a way to make you immortal and live forever." Replied the mudokkon shepard. Slaga was puzzled. 'How can that be?' Thought Slaga. They both sat down on the hard dirt.
"There are four different kinds of fires," explained the mudokkon shepard, "you must put these fires on sticks. The first one is the regular fire, the orange fire. That can be found anywhere. The second one is the green fire. It must be found in the Marshwood Forest. The third one is the yellow fire. It can be found only in the Geruda Cave. The final one is the blue fire. It must be found on top of the Iceshad Hill. Once you have one of those fires, you must go to that temple over that hill and light one of the torcholders. Once all of them are lit, you'll be given the gift of immortality. Also, you shall stay at the age of fourteen."
It all sounded clear to Slaga. He knew what he had to do. He also knew that his life was at risk on this dangerous task. 'I must accept.' Slaga kept thinking. So he did. "Excellent. Remember Slaga, do the best you can." Replied the mudokkon shepard as he vanished.
