Well the main the reason oddworld stoped is becuase of the Quintology. Lorne wants to do games like Stranger and Fangus becuase he won't contuine the quintology with todays techology, until it's good enought. What happend to MO kinda ruined the story, so lorne thought it would be best if he makes then in movies first so it won't mess the story. Remember, he said first with the movies, which could mean that lorne could contuine the quintology as games after the movie when the techology is good enought to make these happen. I personaly think it's a bit sad becuase I would rather discover the quintology as games first, than movies, but we all know what happens with MO.

Now oddworld will be doing an Abe movie, but not sure if he'll do all the quintology as movies first. They will be thinking of plots, ideas and hopley desgns, this gives oddworld more time to think what they have to do if ther're games will contuine. Oddworld remaining silent form now on until he has a movie or game to be released, but I aint sure who going to produce the movie, we'll have to wait and see.
