Hahaha, this reminds me of a newspaper article pinned up in our common room. It was about an old temporary teacher who was accusing her current employers of being racist because she had to envigilate exams. Holy shit!
She said it was because she was exotic (she's Indian) and speaks French, which they were jealous of.

The main double standard that I commonly experience is people commenting on my weight. While calling someone fat is seen as horribly mean, calling someone skinny seems to perfectly fine. It drives me crazy.
