I don't remember seeing any teeth. Can you contribute some visual evidence?
'cos muds are supposed to be descended from birds so their dentistry should be as common as... hen's teeth.

Yeah, that is kind of wierd. Though, dinosaurs like sinornithoides had teeth, a beak and feathers. Mudokons could be a slight refrence to dinosaurs.
