Woodwork teachers are idiots anyway, all brawn and no brain. The best teachers are always the science and chemistry teachers (usually they have quite a good sense of humor). Geography, maths, biology, and english teachers all suck.

The worst double standard that I can think of is "racial equality" and "equal opportunities". Racial equality is supposed to mean equal opportunity between a white employee and black or ethnic employee of equal skill and qualification levels. But what it actually translates to in the real world, is that if you're black and you get turned down by an employer who runs a business that has no black or ethnic workers, you can sue the employer for being in breach of racial equality, regardless of whether that had anything to do with his reasons for not giving you the job.

This so called "racial equality" helps black people get jobs or promotions without racial prejudices and competition from other white people affecting his chances. That sounds good on the face of it, until you realise that it simply means that a white guy who has worked hard at school to become qualified enough to work somewhere, can have his chances of getting a job or promotion taken away from him by a lesser qualified black guy.

I see this as enforced racism. If we want racial equality we'll have to stamp out racism altogether, not force it on employers. Racial equality should mean that black people should have to work equally as hard as white people in order to have equal chances. People can't help the skin that they were born in, so it shouldn't be a factor in anything at all - nobody was deliberately coloured black or white to annoy anyone, so there is no reason why either one should be punished.

This isn't racial equality, it's racial bias, and it's another one of those stupid politically correct rules.
