Look, let me just explain this to you all as clearly as I can:
If Microsoft want me to buy their product, then they can stop trying to f*cking control me with their silly shit, and start telling me what's so great about whatever it is that they're trying to sell. And I mean specs, features, gadgets - I want to know how owning this product is going to benefit me. If I'm interested in owning the product to reap the benefits of the features outlined in this information, then I will buy the product. If I don't have any use for it, then my money will stay in my wallet, and no fancy ass website is going to change that.
I'm not going to buy whatever just because a publicity stunt has impressed me, and I certainly don't intend to piss away hours of my life looking at a gallery of hundreds of random meaningless stickers posted around cities while trying to figure out what some random meaningless cryptic website is about... all for what?
What happened to the days when console manufacturers didn't f*ck you around with stylised aesthetic form-before-function artsy cryptic bullshit, and instead just gave you the cold hard info and relevant facts? I miss those days, and I want them back. Recently adverts have gone from being "educate the masses on the advantages of our product" to being "impress the idiots who are attracted to shiny things and watch MTV". It makes me sick and I'm fed up with it. I wasn't put on planet earth to be manipulated into wasting hours of my life and spending huge amounts of money on something that I don't really want or need.
