that clakker thing happened to me.
i think it's more of a glitch but, in mongo wilds, after the 1st level, i would talk to random clakkerz and, neraly all the time, they would just stare at me then walk off. the gate keeper would just be silent and then the gate would open. when i returned to new yolk city, everything went back to normal. it was i bit strange and annoying.
