2)It is possible to leave Rupturefarms without learning how to chant. You're supposed to learn about chanting in the Monsaic Lines. However that does mean that you have to restart the game so that you can save all the muds in the secrets.

2) I guess it was to improve the replay value, it worked for me, I replayed the game right after I finished it, trying to rescue all the muds
