Chapter 11
Spider rested, conserving his energy. As Myron had said, they weren't feeding him and he was terriblely hungry. Scrawny slipped him food when he could, but unfortunately that wasn't very often and he was starting to loose his muscle mass. He heard the tell tale sound of the vent grate openning and looked up, hoping Scrawny had managed to get more food. To his surprise a fairly large bag was pushed out and landed with a 'whump' on the floor. Scrawny, slipped out after it. Spider's nose immediately told him what was in the bag...FOOD! He didn't hesitate to dive in.
"Eat up Spide." Scrawny said, "Yer going ter need it.."
"Where.." Spider asked between shallows, "did yer get all this?"
"Managed ter raid the mess hall. Good thing to, 'cause tonight they are going ter try ter put that NS thingy in yer.."
Spider stopped eating suddenly, a look of fear in his eyes, "I'm doomed.."
"Dolt, I said they'll TRY ter put one in yer. I have a plan."
"Yer do?" Spider resumed, feeling a bit better.
"Yes, when they come get yer, pretend yer too weak to resist."
"Ok..then what?"
"Yer keep playing possium, even as they strap you up. Then, I'll turn off the lights and yer start making noise so I can fer yer in the dark so I can free yer."
Spider froze again, "Sounds like yer going to cut it awfully close.."
"I know it will be close, but with luck it will be Myron himself who will 'try' ter administer the NS on yer. If so yer can have yer revenage."
"Good...." Spider growled, "Then what?"
"After that...I will lead yer ter the outside."
"Outside?" Spider raised a brow, "Yer mean.."
"Yes Spider, true freedom. Get some rest, and remember the plan." Scrawny said as he bundled up the now empty bag and went back into the vent.
"I will." Spider said, shaking with excitement. At last, if we can pull this through, I will finally have my revenage...and freedom...
