It's unfortunate, but people don't ever think to look for those threads. People don't even look at Announcements very much either. Perhaps I'll have to implement some announcement system similar to the April Fools banner that is currently up. People certainly took notice of that.
But then it screws with the aesthetically pleasing system of the forums
