If you play Stranger in invincibility mode and get killed by either a fan or a crane, you'll become invisable (assuming you can escape your "doom"). In 1st person, you can't move more than a step without halting (which can get incredibly annoying) and in 3rd, you can move freely (but you can only move in 3rd, which means you can't climb ropes).

The same thing happened to my cousin when he played it (only he intentionally died
), but ehc ouldn't move in 3rd person, but 1st. Also, he found he could no longer talk to anybody (I think).
But once, when I was on my second time through SW, I was talking to the Clakkers, but when I'd finished, they wouldn't talk back! When I tried to get back through the gate, he wouldn't let me and kept quiet! I had to reload and fortunately, it stopped.
