Actually, I'm not at all shocked by it. When I was in Primary School, Peanut Butter was outright banned because a student was deadly allergic to it. Being very young, he could have eaten or been offered peanut butter and not known the difference. I think it was a wise choice.
Imagine the parents of that child. They don't want to send themselves into a paranoid panic everytime they drop their child off at School. Besides, it's only peanut butter
