I've been wondering about this for ages now. It's not an exact science, but basically: Flour + Water + Heat = Bread. But what inspired man to mix these things together? What even inspired him to grind up the fairly useless looking wheat, to make flour?

I've thought long and hard about it and I can't really think of anything... I can imagine many different possible scenarios in which bread was accidentally happened upon, but nothing concrete.

So what do you think? Do you have any theories, maybe about other foods and not just bread?
