Chapter 3
When I opened the heavy lids of my eyes I automatically looked around to see where I was. I was shocked, there seemed to be no escape. A wall of spears prevented escape as we approached the leader.
He wore a smaller mask than what our leader big face wore and was decorated with many feathers over the shinning blue paint. His voice was old and dry as he spoke an ancient language. He beckoned us into a small room. Here was where he pointed towards a painting. It showed grave stones and mudokon spirits running around them. Then he showed me the one of the only things their tribe had left of the outside world, an old news paper, the daily deception and own its front cover showed a picture of the people who had volunteered to help save our race and I was there, smiling.
He new he had been tricked and I felt that I did not need to get revenge for the glockons, they were as powerless us the rest of us, I had to save the modukons. The sligs had seen something that made them shudder. The news paper was made recently and I wondered how they had got it.
Last month’s news paper wasn’t sold everywhere and especially not here. They had got it from a slig caravan. Skilla was getting restless and wanted more money. The wolvarks had started taking over the factories and Skilla sensed that they were the most powerful. They had abandoned the glockons and made a massive exodus, killing all in their way. This had arrised resilience umong the intern and they wanted their own rights too. Storming away from their own decedents. Chaos had risen among oddworld. The sligs had watched in terror as I decided what to do. The leader had realized that the sligs were on the side of the wolvarks and grubbs and let them live. I dicided to help other mudokons and let the sligs escape with out being killed from Skilla’s grasp. I didn’t think about why they were Turing against skilla.
We had no time for good byes, the grubbs had arrived. The leader quickly led us to a exit and gave me an elum to ride and the sligs some meetles. A cloud of bats flew past us, blocking our view of the mysterious city and ad we escaped all I could here were the screeches of parrimites.
*edit* well, it seems no one wants my story, someone please tell me if i should continue or not. anyway, i will give one more chapter for those who can't reply and becuase it's there.
Chapter 4
We charged through a tunnel and onto a sea side village. I could smell the fresh sea and fresh fish. When we got there I jumped onto the soft grass and walked towards the entrance of the village. The sligs tagged along behind me and we investigated. It was a small clakker city; we had defiantly strayed too far! It was bustling with business and the smells of fish and gabbits.
The clakkerz ran off screaming like grubs and I managed to catch a small one. he started crying and his mother came rushing out. She had just started telling us off when her husband came fluttering in what appeared to be a captain’s suit.
“Now you leave my family alone”, he shouted, “ now you look like you could need some help, I thought you were a grubb! “ I’ll be happy to give you a boost in wherever you are going.” “Just don’t stay here too long”! I ignored the insult and we happily told him our story. Within a few minutes we had left the small city and the valley which stank of fish and were cruising in the sea and the clakkerz came streaming out and started shouting and waving. Then popper realized that the sea we were on was what we had seen from a distance or what it had started out to be.
We were now in a damp swamp filled with wasps and sting bees. He quickly told us and the captain gathered his son, he eagerly wanted to hear anything he said, and told us about the swamp. I started to panic when he started talking about lett ing us off soon, sea rexes and fleeches lurking about and many deasies carried by the insects that were packed in this area. This was when our adventure had just started. I did not notice the captain stop his engine abd the sligs get off the hover craft, I did not notice my self getting pushed off the hover craft. I noticed nothing whole I was thinking except a shadow disappearing the water and a faint unknown roar in the distance
. The hover craft disappeared and soon did the voices of the clakkarz. The bog consumed us and we squelched hip deep in the swamp. The captain had not told us anything about his people, him self or his city. In fact the only thing he did tell us that was interesting is that there was a mud city rumored in the middle of the swamps.
He had also added that we were going back towards home again, but it was nearly unreachable. This didn’t make our so far journey a waste of time.
