That's why I suggested co-op multiplayer... Not online. Where you both have to sit and play thru the game together. That way you're both experiencing the story together. Certainly, you'd miss out on playing as one of the two, but that's why you play it again and be the other character next time around.
I say sucks to online play on the games we have thusfar. Hand of Odd or an Oddworld MMORPG might be interesting enough... Maybe. As for online Stranger's Wrath (as I already said): "I'm extremely glad it doesn't have any of that multiplayer first person shooter crap. It's not about blowing up your friends with weapons, it's about getting thru the story of the world that OWI is offering you."
I recall countless multiplayer NES and SNES games that were worth the money I paid for them.
Great job! Me too. I'll probably buy an xBox someday but, for now, I still bought Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath anyway.

uhhhh.
seriously, when two-player was first around, it was in terrible games.
double dragon and super mario brothers were like the first two that were any good.
i second saying nuts to online play.
some games are good for it, but it shouldn't be the sole basis for buying a game.
most games i have that are memorable are one- or two-player.
besides my computer, i don't own any online games.
i'm kind of iffy about hand of odd. i'd get it, just because it's an oddworld game and i trust OWI, but i think the concept is iffy.
they should have made SligStorm though.
