Teaming up would suck, but having mixing the two story lines would definatly not. Maybe Strager can travel to the other side of Oddworld where the story of Abe is playing, and they run into each other for some reason and find out they are (for that moment) after the same purpose, maybe some other life treatning thing stranger has :P.
That might end up in not a team work, but still being after the same goal which makes them kinda work together without them knowing... or... eh... *Gets strangeld in his own words* anyway, you get the point.
