Technically, unless you get into specifics, all games are RPGs. In everygame you play some kind of role.

I wouldn't mind playing Fable one day, I have heard a lot of good things about it, although it's supposed to be somewhat short for a RPG.

Yeah, I completed it in just under 15 hours. Which is extremely short compared to other RPGs. Also, after you complete the main story it just gets boring.
