I wouldn't mind if Abe played only a miniature game in ME. Kind of like the mudokon priests who gave Abe ring powers in the first two games, only a bit more involved. You know, he'd be there to help Munch through some parts, but the focus would be more definitely set on Munch and his quest. That Abe hogged the limelight always kind of bothered me about MO. (On an only barely related note, I'm still hoping for some truly underwater levels in a Munch game.)
As for Habitales, I hope they can initiate the series. I always thought the daily life of inhabitants would be quite interesting and fun. The anthropological bent to the games is what really secured my fandom. If fandom is a word.
