You know what is funny though, the modern english language doesn't follow its own rules. For example you knock on someones door and they say "who is it" and you say "its me" thats incorrect English. Me can only be used if it is the Direct Object and cannot be the subject. The proper answer should be "It is I" but no one says that...execpt me
