There is no evidence for historical continuity between the pagan religious practices of antiquity (or even the Middle Ages) and modern Wicca. On the contrary, there's lots of evidence that Wicca is a modern invention.

If you don't want to read the link, the basic gist is that it was made up by some rather shonky historians in the last century and was then taken further by even shonkier individuals with a personal agenda.
