Video game merchandise is usually picked up by evil people who love to profit from it by selling it to extremely fanatical fans (if it's not picked up by the fans themselves, at least). I'll bet that's how Alcar got ahold of it.

A merchandise shop would be iffy. The Oddworld merchandise to date is usually just handed out at GDC, E3, handed out to press members and lucky fans who visit the studios, and such. It's not really mass produced in a way that would satisfy the demand of an online shop. The only things for which this could work are the games, the book, and perhaps the bonus DVD.

There did used to be plenty of merch at the old GT Store. My god how I now wished I'd have been Internet-literate enough in those days to buy it all. *sigh*
