Nah, how would you fit the disk into it? It would probably need some work to convert it anyway.

Discs for PSP have nearly the capacity of normal PS2 discs. And PSP has only a little bit less power than PS2.
Look at Ridge Racer or Metal Gear A.C.I.D. Maybe the modding scene will bring out some tools to port old PS games, connection to PSP wouldn't be a problem, it comes with a USB data link. And DIVX codec for movies

I would love to see more games from oddworld in 2D like the Abe games. Or as a bonus game in the next oddworld game, if you finish the game, you unlock a new 2d game. That would be cool.

So when Stranger or Munch or even Abe or the unknown new hero get to a gaming machine in the 3d world they insert a coin and play the old games
