I remember the horns on the wall, but I didn't put 2 and 2 together until now!
As for the end battle, I considered that timed run up to Sekto's office, the fight with his two guards, and the fight with Sekto himself as one large battle. Not sure why, but that's how I felt when I was playing it.
I like you're point Oddguy, that the villain is more show that real power.
Sekto was indeed my favorite Oddworld villain so far, I just felt an evil from him that I never felt from the other villains. When I realized what he had done to the old steef, how Sekto used the steefs body to destroy everything he had tried to protect, to destroy his own kind... When the old steef asked "is the water free?", that told me he was aware the entire time, that he had to WATCH Sekto using his body to destroy all that he held dear.
I could only imagine the kind of torture that would have been, and seeing him able to smile before he died, that really hit me.
I shed a tear for two scenes, the one I just described, and an earlier shot of Steef. After all these years of being ashamed, of hiding and denying who he was, lying to everyone, and hating himself, he was finally able to stand tall, be who he was, and looked PROUD!
