Same here. I don't hate them, but I'm not entirely comfortable about it. If someone I knew turned out to be gay, I would probably just not bring up the subject and hope that they wouldn't bring it up either.
And, no, I don't know any homosexual people personally, but I might know a few on the internet.

I was raised to be Christian, but seeing that it goes against my moral beliefs and encourages you to "stone gays" I quickly came to my senses.

Not all Christians hate gays. The trouble is, one group of Christians may go all out against them, and then all Christians get the blame!
