Mine comes from "munch" too.
In fact, in 1998 I had my first PC and my first game : Abe's Oddysee, then I had Abe's Exoddus and internet (maybe in 1999). At the end of Abe's Exoddus, there is something like "Munch's Oddysee - Coming fall 2001". I was so excited ^^.
Then I subscribed to a site (caramail.com), and chose as nickname "munch", but it was already used, so I chose munchou. At the beginning, I didn't like this nick, but with the time... now I love it !
