I've broken my left arm, and my pinky toe on my left foot.
I broke my pinky toe only a month or two ago, while playing soccer in my backyard with my sister. We always play soccer, volleyball, tennis, badminton, or any other sports we can fit into our backyard (it isn't a terribly big backyard). Anyway, we never wear shoes, and as it happened, I went to kick the ball into her goals, at the same moment, she dug her foot into the ball as well, launching the ball off to the side. But our feet continued to accelerate. In trying to move my foot, and attention to where the ball was now heading, my pinky toe collided with her very hard ankle
We both ended up hopping around like mad swearing curses at imaginary people
My left arm is a tad more interesting. A few years ago I used to do gymnastics as a competitive sport. In all honesty, I was extremely good. I usually came first or second in what events I did. During my usual afternoon training session at the place I trained at, we were pratising some very simple jumps off of the spring board, basically to warm up. Somehow, I managed to flip more than what I had intended, and as such, was heading head first for the ground when I came out of my flip. To protect myself, I launched my hands forward. I guess the full weight and momentum of my body somehow only went through my left arm. What still cracks me up today, is that I stood up feeling slightly disoriented, and had no idea I had just broke my left arm. It became apparent when I did a check of myself and noticed my arm was bent. It wasn't a normal break, instead of the usual lower arm cast, I had to have my arm set at an angle at the elbow, and have that casted. Furthermore, I developed a greater fear of gymnastics. After my arm was healed, I returned to gymnastics for one term. I decided to discontinue it after.
To be honest, when I look back on my life, I think that was the worst decision I've ever made. And consequently, the worst mistake.
