Well, Undercover Operations is partly set in the Great Forest, but doesn't go into much depth [hah!] on it. Maybe I will write a fic about it, although I already have two fics on the go... :S
Alcar, I just realised that the Great Forest would also be a good environment to have if Rex was a Samdokon, what with the Darkness and all. I know you aren't too keen on that idea, but I think it would be pretty cool...
Edit: To be honest, I enjoy creating things more than writing about them. Maybe I'll just stick to writing descriptions of the Forest, rather than writing a fic about it. After all, writing a fic around a location is not generally a good way to go...
Edit 2: Maybe I'll think of another environment and describe that next...
Edit 3: Maybe I could write some short stories on this... Larry Niven wrote a lot of short stories when developing his "Known Space" Universe...
