I can tell you've read just a bit too much Pratchett.
But you wouldn't have to bring the shop to the party; hold the party in the shop. If the guests were all good friends you could hop around the planet chasing the eternal night, or just go to Bankok for cheap strippers. Alternatively if you didn't like them much you could pop the shop over to the other end of the city so that you screw with their heads and no-one can find their cars. If you get them pissed enough they'll blame themselves.

Soul Music, wasn't it? I don't usually so blatantly nick other people's ideas, but it was something that appeared in my head when I tried to think of what I'd like to be...*hangs head in shame*. Next time I steal, I'll do so more subtley. Though I'm sure I've heard of a similar thing to the moving shop elsewhere too (outside of Discworld, I mean).
I still want to take the shop to the party, just to be special. Maybe I could set up a stall.
