Actually it's both, "over night rental" on the movies or "Video hire" are examples of this. It just depends on who the person is I guess. I've used both terms when down at the local Block buster store/shop. It's wierd that we have Block Buster in England as no-one ever uses the American term "Blocks".

Lol, Cockney rhyming slang, Geordie talk, Manchester "mad fer it!" speech, Somerset accents and the silly put on "posh" accents. Sometimes I can't understand people of my country either.
