So I just assumed the general term was "hire" instead of "rent."
Actually it's both, "over night rental" on the movies or "Video hire" are examples of this. It just depends on who the person is I guess. I've used both terms when down at the local Block buster store/shop. It's wierd that we have Block Buster in England as no-one ever uses the American term "Blocks".

Lol, Cockney rhyming slang, Geordie talk, Manchester "mad fer it!" speech, Somerset accents and the silly put on "posh" accents. Sometimes I can't understand people of my country either.

A definite buy in the future: The follow up to San Andreas. I can't wait to see how the developers will match it or beat it.
