These are just some silly doodles I ran off while watching television tonight, one inspired by a picture in the front of The Book, and one just because I felt like doodling out some silly pictures...
"Two Newts?"
...well, since one of my characters was originally supposedly to be a hybrid of primarily mudokon and Oddworldish-newt, with a few bits and pieces of other creatures in there, (although at that point nobody knew if there were newts on OW, She was just a case of "OMG NEWT must have a newt yay newtiness!") Seeing the picture of the warrior newts in the front of the book, how could I resist?
(I know, I know, they're Grubbs or Salamanders or something, but with those short little finny legs I like "newt" better.

"Creatures"
The two-legged one was just a "telly on, what shall I draw... something like a whale... yeah..." I was musing over the fact that if oddcreatures are lacking a pair of limbs, they either move about only on their arms, or else have only one leg for hopping, there's not many biped armless creatures out there... I was thinking this'd be a grumpy desert predator, or something. The other doodles are just silly - one's supposed to be a bird, with a longer, broader tail, and the other a "desert rat" taking its inspiration from a kangaroo-rat (hence the fluffy tail and whatnot) (and a camel for the biiiig eyelashes).
Yay. Artzes. I'm polishing them up, although we'll see how far I get before getting bored. :P
