Well, I know the feeling, at least. As cliche as it sounds, just give it a whirl, use some big words in the process, and if you get denied, go home crying. Then proceed to crank up some Eric Clapton, masturbate, and you'll realize there are more worthy things worth pursuing in life. That always works for me when I'm in a rut.
