No it doesn't. Some of the in-game movies are real time cinematics (such as when he leaves the first town and is given his crossbow, or when he talks to the outlaw who is scared of Boils Booty). That means that they're using the in-game models, like rts games do. A lot of games do this nowadays. However, Stranger also has some pre-rendered cinematics, such as the opening movie, his transformation, the ending movie, and that one with the gloktigi (dunno it thats the ender or not...).
