Ok I am sorry I got the word mixed up I always thought "epics" were large on going stories of heroes in a universe where there is a collection of stories.

Well, yeah...that would be a correct definition.
You were talking about an epic, and a film in the same thought...so I assumed you were going on about an epic film, in which my definition of epic would be correct.
