I found the very laid back discussion about the movie out of the ordinary. I've seen hints from various websites that Oddworld are looking into doing a film shortly, but nothing as solid as what Lorne said in this interview.
Interestingly, I found another interview with Lorne that was exactly the same as this. Yet on a different site, though it appeared to be linked together.
