...I would have thought it was to improve the whole mysterious atmosphere of the article that they put "unknown" rather than "steef" - after all, the idea of the game that he's a stranger to everyone, right? If they knew what he was and where he came from, he wouldn't be so much of a stranger? :P *shrugs*
