I haven't tried the lunge glitch yet. I will soon.
There is another lunge glitch that is so fun. It's in multiplayer. I recommend doing this in Blood Gultch/Coagulation. Go to quick options and enable Energy Swords as the starting weapon. Once you start the game, take a warthog and drive it to the end of a base. Jump in the passenger seat with the Sword and have your friend come near enough to you that your targeting reticle goes red. Then pull the right trigger. You should hear the Energy Sword sound. After this, have your friend get onto the opposite side of Blood Gultch. When you're ready, just aim wherever you want to go and jump out of the warthog. If you aim high, you literally fly. It's so awesome. Try it out.
