This forum should have member awards each month. I've seen another forum do it and it was quite successful.
Here's an example:

Funniest Member:
Best Newcomer:
Most Intelligent Member:
Most Knowledge of Oddworld:
Most Helpful Member:
etc.
I mean, it's just an idea. Of course it will cause some fights, but that, my comrades, is a risk I'm willing to take. I like to watch a good old internet fight.

*flies up in the sky and shoots balls of fire at him*
*gets military to bomb him*
*somehow survives and throws a house at him*
Entertainment at it's best!
Get him with the skyscraper! Come on! Kick his ass with the tank that you got out of nowhere! You can do it!
