But "New Yolk City" just registers too much of a cliche (over use, such as Oddworld's affection with the letter 'z').
I don't really see how that's relevent. New York City has never been used by Oddworld, so can't compare to the overuse of ‘z’.

New York is used in so many games, it's overused. Thus, why I used the word 'cliche'. In my perspective, it's an overused saying, or in this case, a word, that has lost its appeal for me.
It's not as if NYC is actually in the game - it's just the name of a Clakker City. The name of a city can't be a cliché, either, because it's a proper noun. ‘The Big Apple’ could be a cliché, I guess.
