Most likely though, it's just a fun play on words. I don't see anyone mocking New York after 9/11.

Why the hell shouldn't they? I respect what happened on 9/11 was a terrible tragedy, but doesn't mean that New York is totally off limits to all humor.
Anyway. I hate the new subtitle. It's crap.
