I think the post thing is a little dumb when flaming is seen as more offensive than porn. I've had warnings before(cursing once, forget what the other one was. It sure as hell wasn't for short posts!). Would those count against me? And seriously, why is everyone getting their codpieces in a tangle over this? If you ask me this is a rather benign and trouble-free area.
On a side note, warnings are a little pussy. Tell it openly in the thread or don't do it at all. PMing sucks. Also, this is one of the most warn-happy forums ever and while it does make the trains run on time it feels a little stiff and formal.
