I see what you mean, as contributive members should have their reputations for being a good member count towards something. But I can see how the younger members would feel unfairly treated, if they were to receive the same warning someone more repuable should have also received, but didn't.
I guess this is the basis of the new system in the works. People who do minor offences receive the same treatment as those who commit major offences. I'm glad Abe Babe brought it to our attention, as I was content with the current system. I didn't really see any shortcomings
