A Wacom tablet, I believe, is a tool artists can use to draw directly into computer art programs rather than having to control a mouse. I think it's basically a pen (stylus?) and mat (tablet), and it picks up what you 'draw' on the tablet with the pen. Useful for PhotoShop, for instance.

It's working great too. I'm finishing pictures much faster.
It's gonna be tough getting to a computer with internet. We have power back in the house, but Comcast is being a lazy sonabitch.
