I'm no graphics whore though I appreciate them, but games like Doom 3 are way too taxing for me to even consider buying them. Christ, it takes hundreds of dollars and a pint of vigin blood just to get you 'puter up to snuff to run it. Then what are you rewarded with? Bland levels filled with waves upon waves of enemies that aren't scary in the slightest. I liked this game when it was 20 dollars cheaper, funnier, and called Serious Sam. Also, its just a damn sequel, people. Quit creaming yourselves. If the game was innovative, fun, and looked amazing, then I could understand the senseless praise.
Edit: Goddamn people! Can't we have at least one friggin' thread that doesn't devolve into a relative-bashing flame fest?
