Part 3

*Setting: Two bright flashes of light and the sound of two pairs of feet hitting the paper strewn ground was cause for the mounds of sleeping homeless to stir, drunk and high on whatever it was they could get their hands on. The darkened night sky masking them in shadow, so that the new beings to this world could barely see them. Radcleff looked around nervously, never before leaping from one Dimension to another without the Elders knowing. Jolas, however, was enjoying his new found freedom and steadily walked towards the end of the alleyway, which they had materialised in, to get a better look at the new world they had travelled to. Cars sped past, honking their horns at pedestrians that got in the way, who then shouted explicitives in retaliation. Turning to look at his bestfriend, and the only other Summoner he had laid his eyes on for a good three centuries, he smiled. His green eyes seemingly aglow with happiness.*

Jolas: "Come, Radcleff, this is what freedom has to offer. A world of opportunity and fortune. A world free of mortals with more power than they deserve and their fickle ways."

He beckoned Radcleff forward, who tentatively stepped to the side of Jolas and whimpered. Lights and loud noises were blazing from everywhere in the large street, yet none of the people seemed to be afraid. Aggressive shouting and screaming could be heard from certain individuals, yet the vast majority of people ignored them. It was like war, just...not.

Radcleff: "W-Where are we Jolas? Why did we have to come here? W-Why did you have to harm our ma..."

Jolas: "He is not our master anymore, Radcleff. No longer do we have to suffer his shoutings at us for no reason. Or his Sorcerers cursings as he attempted to hit us with that staff. We are free. Like we shall all be."

He leant out of the alleyway briefly, looking around with his large eyes as if trying to sight something important or dangerous.

Radcleff: "We are not meant to be free though, Jolas!! We are meant to serve! That is our purpose! If the Elders find out about us, they'll send those...those...th..."

Jolas: "Shhh."

He placed his paw upon Radcleffs mouth, looking deep into his eyes with a caring gaze that Radcleff had not seen for years.

Jolas: "By the time the Elders are aware of our escape, they will be in no position to send...them."

He snarled these words, thinking back to when he first saw the shadowy figures. Their bright, slitted red eyes glowing intently as they watched him from the shadows.

Jolas: "But, if you fear them so much, you may leave. We are no longer binded to one another anymore, and even though our bond is strong, we can go our seperate ways. Feel free to leave, Radcleff. I won't stop you."

He took a step away from him, as if inviting him to go, but the meak, hairless, Cat-like being merely sniffled and shook his head.

Radcleff: "You have stood by me on so many occassions, Jolas. So many. Now it is my turn to stand by you."

Jolas shook his head slowly, stepping closer and placing a paw upon Radcleffs left shoulder.

Jolas: "No, do not be apart of this, if all it is, is a chance to repay me. If in your Heart, you want to leave, do so. I will not think any less of you, friend."

His voice was full of sincerity, and as Radcleff looked into his eyes, he could see that he meant it. He could leave at any time, and Jolas would never resent that.

Radcleff: "You are my bestfriend, Jolas, and we have been together for so many centuries. You are the only being i can trust, the only being i can truly call a friend. I will stand by you, Jolas, and if needs be, i will sacrifice my life for you. Wherever it is you go, i will be close behind."

He smiled weakly, only half believing what he had just stated. But Jolas didn't seem to notice this half-Heartedness and grasped him tightly in a hug before holding him out at arms length and looking at him, his face beaming with happiness.

Jolas: "Then let us free our kind..."

He turned, letting Radcleff go and stepping a few steps more into the alleyway, electricity darting around his arms.

Jolas: "...and give the mortal world Hell."

Holding up his arms, fingers outstretched, he smiled evilly as blue and white strands of electricity sprang from the tips and coiled around the sleeping and drunk homeless, ripping away their delicate skin and slowly, but painfully, burning them to a crisp.

(Edited OOC: Blech, crap. But still, spaced out. I was thinking of doing it anyway, but i wanted to make sure people thought it was too long before i did so, so thanks for the feedback, Fez.)
