One solitary thread for all Fortean posts sounds like a fantastic idea.
Re: her skin bonding with the couch material; I doubt she would have had adequate clothing on. I don't want to sound crude or nasty here, but I should think there were enough bodily rolls for exposed skin to stay in contact with the fabric.
