My first name (Nathan) was just because my parents liked the name.
My middle name (Samuel) was named after a great uncle who was a doctor with the League of Nations in Siam. When the Japanese invaded the Siamese tried to suck up to them by murdering all the westerners. Thats the history you won't read in the books...
