I'm used to losing a lot of auctions ... even though I generally try to snipe, winning rare FFVII merchandise is pretty tough, cause so many people are willing to pay wayyyy too much for it [even I have my limits].
It's always annoying when you lose, although I probably would just ignore an email like that if I got one. I've never been in that situation though.
